Welcome again! Insects to start!

Welcome again! A new school year has begun. Are you ready to work and to have fun? 

Let's start learning vocabulary about insects. In this picture you can see some of those we have seen in the classroom (bee, ant, grasshopper...) and others are different (wasp, ladybird, dragonfly...).

And now two online games. In the first one you can test your memory. Match the words and the pictures.

In the second one, you must drag the letters into the proper yellow boxes to correctly spell the word.

Fashion designers

Our second grade pupils are a few fantastic fashion designers. Look at these drawings that prove it. The new collection for this summer is ready: dresses, trousers, shorts, jackets, T-shirts, hats, skirts, shoes...

Sports and values

Thursday 14th was a very special day. The fifth and sixth grades had a meeting with Deportivo players. The aim was to promote Education Values: equality, solidarity, friendship, peace... The first, second, third and fourth grades drew these fantastic pictures.

The Emperor's New Clothes

Our sixth grade schoolmates presented on the 18th a theatrical adaptation of the story The Emperor's New Clothes, written by Hans Christian Andersen. Third grade pupils were their audience. With the help of the teacher Olga, the staging was a great success. Great job! Congratulations!

In a fun way with our karaoke

Today we are going to show you some resources from Oxford Explorers to learn in a fun way. If you visit this site or click on the images, you will find games, songs, stories and picture dictionaries that accompany your Class Book units from 1st to 3rd grade.

   

This way, you can practise at home the grammar, the vocabulary and the songs also studied at school. For example, using the karaoke you can sing two of your favourite sons: «I love my family» or «Look at all the animals».
