Riddles game with Kevin

Hello! Kevin is with us today! He offers us a «riddles game» (‘juego de acertijos o adivinanzas’). Just watch and listen carefully to the video. You can stop it after each riddle.

Dad, mom, brothers or sisters can also help you.

The five solutions to puzzles are words that we have studied this course.


When you have the answers, you can write them (Riddle 1: .... / Riddle 2: ....) on a paper with your name on it, take a photo of it, and send it to fogarnews@gmail.com

If you prefer, you can tell me the answers by recording a video (The answer to riddle one is ... / The answer to riddle two is...). And you send it to the same email.

Vocabulary of clothing

Today it's time to go over the vocabulary of clothing. Take your book, open it on pages 34 and 35. Let's reread the story of The Emperor's New Clothes. Read while watching this video.

Welcome again! Insects to start!

Welcome again! A new school year has begun. Are you ready to work and to have fun? 

Let's start learning vocabulary about insects. In this picture you can see some of those we have seen in the classroom (bee, ant, grasshopper...) and others are different (wasp, ladybird, dragonfly...).


And now two online games. In the first one you can test your memory. Match the words and the pictures.


In the second one, you must drag the letters into the proper yellow boxes to correctly spell the word.

Sports and values


Thursday 14th was a very special day. The fifth and sixth grades had a meeting with Deportivo players. The aim was to promote Education Values: equality, solidarity, friendship, peace... The first, second, third and fourth grades drew these fantastic pictures.


A good opportunity to practise sports vocabulary with this sheet and this game. Ready, steady... go!
